Sınır ötesi projelerde gelirin anahtar para biriminde, giderin ise yerel para biriminde oluşması klasik bir kur uyumsuzluğu yaratır; bu yüzden PPA ve offtake sözleşmeleri sıklıkla sert para birimine endekslenir ya da hedge zorunluluğu içerir. Kredi verenler tipik olarak borç servisinin gelir para birimiyle eşleşmesini bir yapılandırma önkoşulu sayar.
English Definition
A strong, freely convertible currency, most often the US dollar or the euro, that dominates international trade, reserve holdings and pricing. In cross-border projects, revenue arising in a key currency while costs fall in local currency produces a classic mismatch, which is why PPAs and offtake contracts are frequently indexed to a hard currency or carry a hedging requirement. Lenders typically treat the alignment of debt service with the revenue currency as a structuring precondition rather than a preference.
