Lisans veren, fikri mülkiyet, teknoloji veya diğer tescilli haklara sahip olan ve bu hakları üzerinde mutabık kalınan şartlar altında başka bir tarafa (lisans alan) kullanma izni veren taraftır. Lisans veren, lisanslanan varlığın mülkiyetini korur ve genellikle lisans ücreti, telif veya aşama ödemeleri şeklinde tazminat alır. English Definition
A licensor is the party that owns intellectual property, technology, or other proprietary rights and grants permission to another party (the licensee) to use those rights under agreed terms and conditions. The licensor retains ownership of the licensed asset and typically receives compensation in the form of licence fees, royalties, or milestone payments. In energy projects, technology licensors play a critical role in providing proven processes and equipment designs.
