Rehinli tahvil, bir mülk üzerindeki yapımcı rehni veya diğer takyidatın kaldırılması için başvurulabilen bir kefalet bonosu türüdür. Temel uyuşmazlık çözülürken mülk sahibinin satış, yeniden finansman veya diğer işlemleri gerçekleştirmesine olanak tanır. Tahvil, mülk üzerindeki rehni fiilen rehin talep edenin haklı çıkması halinde ödeme garantisi veren bir bono ile ikame eder.

A lien bond is a type of surety bond that can be filed to release a mechanic's lien or other encumbrance on a property, allowing the property owner to proceed with a sale, refinancing, or other transaction while the underlying dispute is resolved. The bond effectively substitutes the lien on the property with a bond that guarantees payment if the lien claimant prevails. This mechanism protects both property rights and creditor interests simultaneously.
