Hayat sigortası (vadeli), sigortalının belirli bir süre içinde vefatı halinde sigortacının belirlenmiş lehdarına bir miktar para ödemeyi taahhüt ettiği poliçe sahibi ile sigortacı arasındaki sözleşmedir. Vadeli hayat sigortası yatırım veya birikim bileşeni olmaksızın saf ölüm teminatı sağlar. Proje finansmanı ve kurumsal kredilerde kilit yönetici veya kefillerin hayat sigortası ek teminat olarak kredi verenlere temlik edilebilir.
English Definition
Life insurance is a contract between the policyholder and the insurer whereby the insurer promises to pay a designated beneficiary a sum of money upon the death of the insured person during a specified term. Term life insurance provides pure death benefit protection without an investment or savings component. In project finance and corporate lending, life insurance on key executives or guarantors may be assigned to lenders as additional security for the loan facility.
