Sınırlı rüculu kredi, kredi verenin geri ödeme talebinin borçlunun sponsorlarının genel kredi değerliliği yerine projenin varlıkları, gelirleri ve sözleşmesel hakları ile sınırlı olduğu bir borç tesisidir. Kredi veren, temerrüt durumunda geri kazanımın belirtilen teminat ve proje nakit akışlarıyla sınırlı olduğunu kabul eder. Sınırlı rüculu krediler altyapı, enerji ve maden projelerinde standart borç enstrümanıdır.
English Definition
A limited recourse loan is a debt facility in which the lender's right to seek repayment is confined to the project's assets, revenues, and contractual rights rather than the general creditworthiness of the borrower's sponsors. The lender accepts that in the event of default, recovery is limited to the specified collateral and project cash flows. Limited recourse loans are the standard debt instrument in project finance for infrastructure, energy, and mining projects where the project's viability justifies standalone financing.
