Likit getirili opsiyon senedi (LYON), periyodik faiz ödemeyen ancak nominal değerine göre derin iskontolu ihrac edilen ve önceden belirlenmiş bir oranda ihracçının adi hisse senedine dönüştürülebilen sıfır kuponlu dönüştürülebilir tahvil türüdür. LYON'lar genellikle hamilin belirli tarihlerde senedi ihracçıya geri satmasına olanak tanıyan satım opsiyonları ve ihracçının senetleri erken itfa etmesine imkan veren alım opsiyonları içerir. English Definition
A liquid yield option note (LYON) is a form of zero-coupon convertible bond that pays no periodic interest but is issued at a deep discount to its face value and can be converted into the issuer's common stock at a predetermined ratio. LYONs typically include put options allowing the holder to sell the note back to the issuer at specified dates and call options enabling the issuer to redeem the notes early. This hybrid instrument provides investors with downside protection through the put feature while offering equity upside through conversion rights.
