Kredi değerlendirmesi, bir finansal kurumun borçluya kredi verip vermeyeceğini ve hangi koşullarla vereceğini belirlemek için gerçekleştirdiği kapsamlı değerlendirme sürecidir. Borçlunun finansal tablolarının, kredi geçmişinin, geri ödeme kapasitesinin, önerilen teminatın kalitesinin ve fonların amaçlanan kullanımının ekonomik uygulanabilirliğinin analizini içerir. Proje finansmanında kredi değerlendirmesi ayrıca projenin borç servisi için yeterli nakit akışı üretme kapasitesini değerlendirmek için teknik, çevresel, hukuki ve pazar durum tespitini kapsar.
English Definition
Loan assessment is the comprehensive evaluation process undertaken by a financial institution to determine whether to extend credit to a borrower and on what terms. It involves analysis of the borrower's financial statements, credit history, repayment capacity, the quality of proposed collateral, and the economic viability of the intended use of funds. In project finance, loan assessment additionally encompasses technical, environmental, legal, and market due diligence of the underlying project to evaluate its ability to generate sufficient cash flows for debt service.
