Kredi sahibi, bir kredi sözleşmesi kapsamında anapara ve faiz geri ödemesini alma hakkına sahip olan veya bu yasal hakları tutan taraftır. Kredi sahibi orijinal kredi veren veya krediyi temlik, katılım veya ikincil piyasa ticareti yoluyla edinmiş müteakip temlik alan veya alıcı olabilir. Sendikasyonlu proje finansmanında birden fazla kredi sahibi kredi taahhüdünü paylaşır ve her biri tesis sözleşmesinde belgelendiği şekilde kredi tesisinde orantılı bir paya sahiptir.
English Definition
A loan holder is the party that owns or holds the legal rights to receive repayment of principal and interest under a loan agreement. The loan holder may be the original lender or a subsequent assignee or purchaser who has acquired the loan through assignment, participation, or secondary market trading. In syndicated project finance, multiple loan holders share in the lending commitment, each holding a proportionate interest in the loan facility as documented in the facility agreement and transfer certificates.
