Mal ödüncü, kredi verenin taşınır malı geçici kullanım için borçluya teslim ettiği ve borçlunun kararlaştırılan süre sonunda aynı malları iade etme yükümlülüğü taşıdığı karşılıksız bir sözleşmedir. Para borcundan farklı olarak borçlu eşdeğer değer yerine aynı belirli kalemleri iade etmelidir. English Definition
A loan of goods, also known as commodatum, is a gratuitous contract in which the lender delivers movable property to the borrower for temporary use, with the obligation to return the identical goods at the end of the agreed period. Unlike a loan of money, the borrower must return the same specific items rather than equivalent value. In project finance and construction contexts, equipment loans between sponsors and project companies are structured to ensure proper documentation of ownership, insurance coverage, and return conditions.
