Uzun alım opsiyonu, yatırımcının bir alım opsiyonu satın alarak vade tarihinde veya öncesinde belirli bir kullanım fiyatından dayanak varlığı alma hakkı elde ettiği ancak yükümlülük üstlenmediği opsiyon ticaret pozisyonudur. Azami kayıp opsiyon için ödenen primle sınırlıdır, potansiyel kâr ise dayanak varlığın fiyatı yükseldikçe teorik olarak sınırsızdır. Proje finansmanında uzun alım pozisyonları yükselen emtia fiyatlarına karşı korunmak veya önceden belirlenmiş değerlemelerle özsermaye payları satın alma hakkını güvence altına almak için kullanılabilir.
English Definition
Long a call is an options trading position in which the investor purchases a call option, acquiring the right but not the obligation to buy the underlying asset at a specified strike price before or at the expiration date. The maximum loss is limited to the premium paid for the option, while the potential profit is theoretically unlimited as the underlying asset's price rises. In project finance, long call positions may be used to hedge against rising commodity prices or to secure the right to purchase equity interests at predetermined valuations.
