Uzun hisse-kısa alım, yatırımcının bir hisse senedini tutarken aynı zamanda opsiyon priminden ek gelir elde etmek için aynı hisse üzerine alım opsiyonu sattığı yatırım stratejisidir. Kapalı alım stratejisi olarak bilinen bu strateji alınan prim aracılığıyla sınırlı aşağı yönlü koruma sağlar ancak yukarı yönlü potansiyeli satılan alım opsiyonunun kullanım fiyatıyla sınırlar. Yatırımcı mütevazı fiyat artışı veya yatay piyasa beklediğinde ve anında prim geliri için potansiyel yukarı yönlü kazancı feda etmeye hazır olduğunda uygundur.
English Definition
Long stock-short call is an investment strategy in which an investor holds shares of a stock while simultaneously selling a call option on the same stock to generate additional income from the option premium. Known as a covered call strategy, it provides limited downside protection through the premium received but caps the upside potential at the strike price of the sold call option. This strategy is appropriate when the investor expects modest price appreciation or flat markets and is willing to sacrifice potential upside for immediate premium income.
