Bir ekonominin büyüme, istihdam, enflasyon, cari denge ve kamu maliyesi gibi toplulaştırılmış göstergelerdeki gidişatının bütünsel değerlendirmesidir. Proje finansmanında bu performans, tek tek projelerin üzerinde duran bir ülke tavanı işlevi görür: sınır ötesi bir finansmanın maliyeti çoğu zaman projenin kendi nakit akışından önce, ev sahibi ekonominin göstergelerine ve bunların derecelendirme kuruluşlarınca okunuşuna bağlanır. Nitekim kur ve transfer riski primleri, projenin sağlamlığından bağımsız olarak bu tablodan türetilir.
English Definition
A holistic assessment of an economy's trajectory across aggregate indicators such as growth, employment, inflation, the external balance and public finances. In project finance this performance functions as a sovereign ceiling sitting above individual projects: the cost of a cross-border financing is frequently tied, ahead of the project's own cash flow, to the host economy's indicators and to how rating agencies read them. Currency and transfer-risk premia are duly derived from this picture, independent of the project's underlying soundness.
