Kurumsal karar süreçlerinde bu raporun işlevi bilgi vermekten çok, bir varsayımı bağımsız olarak doğrulamaktır. Proje finansmanında bağımsız piyasa danışmanı raporu (independent market report) çoğu zaman kredi belgelerinin resmi bir eki haline gelir; zira kredi verenler, gelir modelinin dayandığı fiyat ve talep projeksiyonlarını sponsorun kendi çalışmasına değil, üçüncü tarafın imzasına bağlamak ister, ve bu rapordaki alt senaryo çoğu kez borçlanma tabanını belirler.
English Definition
A structured analysis prepared by a brokerage, consultancy or sector authority on a particular market's supply-demand balance, price trend and competitive structure. In institutional decision-making the function of this report is less to inform than to independently corroborate an assumption. In project finance an independent market report often becomes a formal annex to the credit documents, since lenders want the price and demand projections underpinning the revenue model tied to a third party's signature rather than the sponsor's own work — and the downside scenario in that report frequently sets the debt-sizing base case.
