English Definition
A notation indicating that a price quote, rate or rating shows no movement relative to the prior period. Seemingly neutral, this mark still carries information in a project-finance context, because affirming a credit rating as 'no change' can mean the existing grade is being maintained even as underlying conditions deteriorate; an experienced analyst therefore reads such an affirmation not as a positive signal but as the last pause before a placement on the watch list.
