Bir sigorta şirketinin reasürörlere devrettiği kısımlardan sonra kendi hesabına tuttuğu risk veya prim tutarıdır. Net alıkoyma, sigortacının bir poliçe veya portföye yönelik fiili risk maruziyetini ve sermaye taahhüdünü yansıtır. Proje finansmanında net alıkoyma ayrıca borç servisi, yedek hesap katkıları ve zorunlu dağıtımlar sonrasında borçlunun elinde tuttuğu proje nakit akışı payını ifade eder.
English Definition
The amount of risk or premium that an insurance company keeps for its own account after ceding portions to reinsurers. Net retention reflects the insurer's actual risk exposure and capital commitment to a policy or portfolio. In project finance, net retention also refers to the portion of project cash flows retained by the borrower after debt service, reserve account contributions, and required distributions.
