Bir muhasebe döneminde gelir, gider, kazanç ve kayıpları kaydetmek için kullanılan geçici defter hesabıdır. Her dönem sonunda nominal hesaplar, bakiyeleri bilançodaki dağıtılmamış karlar hesabına aktarılarak kapatılır. Bu kapanış işlemi nominal hesapları sonraki dönem için sıfıra döndürür ve bakiyelerini kalıcı olarak taşıyan gerçek hesaplardan ayırt eder.
English Definition
A temporary ledger account used to record revenues, expenses, gains, and losses during an accounting period. At the end of each period, nominal accounts are closed by transferring their balances to the retained earnings account on the balance sheet. This closing process resets nominal accounts to zero for the next period, distinguishing them from real accounts which carry forward their balances permanently.
