Sanayi ve üretim tesisi projelerinde bu tehlikeler (silis tozu, çözücüler, ağır metaller) tamamlamadan sonra da varlığını sürdüren uzun-kuyruklu yükümlülükler doğurur. English Definition
A factor in the workplace capable of harming a worker's health — chemical exposure, noise, dust, vibration, radiation — whose effects frequently emerge with delay. On industrial and manufacturing projects these hazards, such as silica dust, solvents and heavy metals, create long-tail liabilities that survive completion. When the operating company is later sold or exited through M&A, such latent exposures become one of the most contested items in the representations-and-warranties negotiation, often backed by a dedicated escrow because their crystallization timing is genuinely hard to bound.
