Bir menkul kıymet ya da varlık için satıcının satmaya razı olduğu, alıcının ödemesi gereken fiyattır; alış (bid) fiyatının karşısında durur ve ikisi arasındaki fark alış-satış makasını (bid-offer spread) oluşturur. Birincil ihraçlarda satış fiyatı, aracı kurumun yatırımcılara yerleştirme fiyatını ifade eder ve nominal değere göre iskonto ya da primi buradan okunur. Proje tahvillerinin ikincil piyasasında ise geniş bir alış-satış makası, likidite darlığının doğrudan bir göstergesidir ve elden çıkarmayı planlayan kurumsal yatırımcı için gizli bir işlem maliyetidir.
English Definition
The price at which a seller is willing to sell a security or asset and which a buyer must pay; it stands opposite the bid price, and the gap between the two forms the bid-offer spread. In primary issues the offer price is the underwriter's placement price to investors, from which any discount or premium to face value is read. In the secondary market for project bonds a wide bid-offer spread is a direct signal of thin liquidity and a hidden transaction cost for any institutional holder planning to exit.
