Proje finansmanında tahvil çıkışı (bond takeout) yoluyla yapılan yeniden finansmanda bu maliyetler çoğu zaman proje maliyetine sermayeleştirilerek finanse edilir; dolayısıyla nominal olarak yalnızca ihraççıya değil, projenin toplam kaynak ihtiyacına yansır. English Definition
The whole of the direct costs incurred to carry out a securities issue — underwriting fees, legal and audit expenses, rating fees, listing and printing-and-distribution costs all fall within it. In project finance, in a refinancing effected through a bond takeout, these costs are frequently capitalized into the project cost and financed, so they flow not merely to the issuer but into the project's total funding requirement. Experienced sponsors weigh offering cost together with the coupon differential, since a high issuance expense offsetting a low coupon can mask the true cost of funding.
