Çalışanın görevini fiilen yerine getirirken, işi yaparak öğrendiği; teorik ya da sınıf içi eğitimden ayrı olarak iş yerinde gerçekleşen eğitim biçimidir. Proje finansmanında bu kalem, özellikle gelişmekte olan pazarlardaki tesislerde operasyon-devir (operations transfer) planının somut bir parçasıdır; nitekim kalkınma finansmanı kuruluşları, yerel istihdam ve kapasite geliştirme taahhütlerini çoğu zaman kredi sözleşmesine bağlı bir koşul olarak yazar ve bu eğitim yükümlülüğünün yerine getirilmesini izler.
English Definition
On-the-job training is instruction that takes place at the workplace as the employee actually performs the role, learning by doing, as distinct from theoretical or classroom training. In project finance this item is a concrete part of the operations-transfer plan, particularly for facilities in emerging markets; development finance institutions frequently write local-employment and capacity-building commitments into the credit agreement as covenanted conditions and monitor whether this training obligation is discharged.
