English Definition
A one-stop shop is a service model where a customer meets multiple needs at a single location or from a single provider; in public permitting it denotes a structure where all applications and approvals proceed through a single window. In project development this second sense is decisive; jurisdictions where permitting, environmental clearance and grid connection run through a single competent authority shorten the development timeline — and therefore interest capitalisation and the equity holding period — markedly relative to fragmented, multi-agency regimes.
