Bir tesisin işletme gelirlerinden doğrudan işletme giderleri düşüldükten sonra kalan, finansman ve vergi kalemlerinden önceki faaliyet düzeyindeki net çıktısını ifade eder. Proje finansmanında faaliyet sonucu, dağıtılabilir nakit ile borç servisi arasındaki ilişkinin başlangıç noktasıdır; ancak tahakkuk esaslı faaliyet sonucu ile rezerv hesaplarına fiilen giren nakit çoğu zaman örtüşmez. Bu nedenle kredi verenler faaliyet sonucunu işletme sermayesi değişimleri ve rezerv beslemeleri için düzelterek, kâr rakamının ardındaki gerçek nakit üretimini görmeye çalışır.
English Definition
The net output at the operating level that remains once direct operating costs are deducted from a facility's operating revenues, before financing and tax items. In project finance the operational result is the starting point for the relationship between distributable cash and debt service; yet the accrual-based operational result rarely coincides with the cash that actually reaches the reserve accounts. Lenders therefore adjust the operational result for working-capital movements and reserve funding, seeking the real cash generation behind the profit figure.
