English Definition
An output plan is the operational plan setting out the quantity, timing and product mix of output a plant or business will produce over a given period, bringing together capacity, the maintenance schedule, input supply and the demand forecast. In project finance the output plan is the operational underpinning of the revenue model and must be synchronized with the debt-service schedule; scheduling planned maintenance shutdowns into seasonally low-revenue periods keeps cash flow from colliding with the repayment profile. Lenders monitor that the maintenance window is positioned not to clash with debt-service payment dates, often as part of reserve-account calibration.
