Kalkınma finansmanı kurumlarında bu taahhütlerin büyük bölümü çağrılabilir (callable) sermaye olarak tutulur ve fiilen ödenmediği hâlde kurumun kredi notunu destekleyen bir garanti katmanı işlevi görür; nitekim derecelendirme kuruluşları bu kalemi kredi verme kapasitesinin dolaylı teminatı sayar. English Definition
The portion of subscribed capital that shareholders have pledged but not yet paid in, remaining payable upon call. At development finance institutions the bulk of these subscriptions is held as callable capital, functioning as a guarantee layer that supports the institution's rating even though it is never actually paid; indeed, rating agencies treat it as indirect backing for lending capacity. At project level, outstanding subscriptions are the subject of the equity contribution agreement, which governs when and under what conditions sponsor equity is injected, and may sit as a condition precedent ahead of debt drawdowns.
