İhraç edilmiş ve yatırımcılar elinde tutulan hisse senedi mevcudunu niteler; kavramsal olarak tedavüldeki paylarla örtüşse de, genellikle sermaye yapısının toplam öz kaynak tabanını ifade eden daha geniş bir kullanımdır. Yetkilendirilmiş (authorized), ihraç edilmiş (issued) ve tedavüldeki stok arasındaki fark, şirketin ek pay ihraç etme ya da opsiyon programı yürütme kapasitesini belirler. English Definition
The stock of issued shares held by investors; conceptually overlapping with outstanding shares, the term is often used more broadly to denote the total equity base of the capital structure. The gap between authorised, issued and outstanding stock determines a company's capacity to issue further shares or run an option programme. In project finance and investment-committee review this distinction is critical to computing control correctly on a fully diluted basis, because options that are allocated but not yet issued are a hidden source of dilution invisible at closing, and a sponsor reading only the outstanding count can misjudge where the control line will sit after vesting.
