Ticaret finansmanında bu ayrım önemsiz değildir; giden yükün akreditif, sevk belgeleri ve deniz sigortası zinciri, gelen yükünkinden farklı bir belge ve risk düzeni izler ve ödeme çoğu zaman malın gemiye yüklendiğini kanıtlayan konşimentonun ibrazına bağlanır. Proje tedarikinde ekipmanın giden yük olarak sevki, teslim koşuluna (Incoterm) göre riskin hangi noktada alıcıya geçtiğini ve dolayısıyla hangi tarafın sigorta yükünü taşıdığını belirler.
English Definition
Cargo dispatched from a port outbound toward a foreign or other destination, that is, freight moving in the export direction. In trade finance the distinction is not trivial, since the letter-of-credit, shipping-document and marine-insurance chain for outward cargo follows a different documentary and risk sequence from inward cargo, with payment often conditioned on presentation of a bill of lading evidencing loading on board. In project procurement, shipping equipment as outward cargo makes the delivery term (Incoterm) decisive, fixing the point at which risk passes to the buyer and therefore which party bears the insurance burden.
