Bir borçlunun farklı nitelikteki finansman ihtiyaçlarını — örneğin sabit yatırım, işletme sermayesi ve teçhizat alımını — tek bir kredi çatısı altında birleştiren, tek sözleşme ve ortak teminat paketiyle düzenlenen kredi türüdür. Ayrı ayrı düzenlenen kredilere kıyasla işlem maliyetini ve teminat çakışmasını azaltır. Proje finansmanı açısından ilgisi, çok bileşenli bir yatırımın farklı çekiş takvimlerine sahip alt-ihtiyaçlarını tek bir borç servisi profilinde toplamasıdır; ancak bu birleştirme, bileşenlerden birinde doğan bir temerrüdün çapraz temerrüt (cross-default) hükmüyle tüm paketi hızlandırma riskini de beraberinde getirir.
English Definition
A loan type that combines a borrower's financing needs of different character — for example fixed investment, working capital and equipment purchase — under a single credit umbrella, arranged with one contract and a shared security package. Relative to separately arranged facilities it reduces transaction cost and collateral overlap. Its relevance to project finance is that it gathers the sub-needs of a multi-component investment, each with its own drawdown schedule, into a single debt-service profile; yet this consolidation also carries the risk that a default arising in one component accelerates the entire package through a cross-default clause.
