Bir tesisin, ekipmanın ya da sistemin, sözleşmede garanti edilen teknik parametreleri fiilen karşılayıp karşılamadığını kontrollü koşullar altında ölçen resmi kabul prosedürüdür; çıktı, verimlilik, güvenilirlik ve emisyon değerleri tipik olarak sınanan başlıklardır. Testin başarıyla geçilmesi çoğu zaman devir teslimin ve ödeme kilometre taşlarının hukuki tetiğidir. English Definition
A formal acceptance procedure that measures, under controlled conditions, whether a plant, equipment or system actually meets the technical parameters guaranteed in the contract, output, efficiency, reliability and emission values typically among the items tested. Passing the test successfully is often the legal trigger for handover and payment milestones. In project financing the performance test is one of the most critical knots in the financial calendar; passing it triggers at once the commercial operation date, hence the start of PPA revenue, the term-out from construction to term loan, and the commencement of debt service, which is why, where the test is delayed or marginally passed, the manner of the independent engineer's certification of the results is a subject of intense negotiation between the parties.
