Perakende ödeme ekosisteminde tüketici kredisinin en yaygın kanalını temsil eder. Proje finansmanı bağlamında doğrudan bir araç olmasa da, kart işlem hacimleri (card receivables), gelecekteki tahsilatların menkul kıymetleştirilmesinde teminat havuzu olarak kullanılır; bu future-flow securitisation yapıları, özellikle egemen riski yüksek pazarlarda offshore tahsilat mekanizmasıyla ülke riskini kısmen izole ettiği için tercih edilir.
English Definition
A colloquial term for credit and debit cards, referring by the physical material of the cards to payment cards collectively. In the retail payment ecosystem it represents the most widespread channel of consumer credit. Though not itself an instrument of project financing, card transaction volumes, or card receivables, are used as a collateral pool in the securitisation of future collections; such future-flow securitisation structures are favoured, particularly in markets of elevated sovereign risk, because an offshore collection mechanism partly insulates the transaction from country risk.
