Bir toplu yatırım aracı ya da ortak yapı içinde, katılımcıların opsiyon pozisyonlarının bireysel olarak değil havuz bazında bir araya getirilerek yönetildiği düzenlemedir; tekil bir yatırımcının erişemeyeceği ölçek ve fiyatlama koşulları bu havuzlama yoluyla elde edilir. Havuz yapısı işlem maliyetini ve teminat gereksinimini katılımcılara dağıtsa da, tek bir tarafın pozisyonunu erken kapatması diğerlerinin maliyet ve risk dağılımını değiştirebilir. Bu nedenle havuza giriş ve çıkış koşulları ile kâr-zarar tahsisi, yapının belgelerinde açıkça tanımlanır.
English Definition
An arrangement in which participants' option positions are managed on a pooled rather than individual basis within a collective investment vehicle or common structure, so that scale and pricing terms unavailable to a single investor are obtained through the pooling. Although the pool spreads transaction costs and margin requirements across participants, one party's early unwinding of its position can shift the cost and risk allocation borne by the others. For that reason the entry and exit terms and the profit-and-loss allocation are defined explicitly in the structure's documents.
