English Definition
An internal control document that summarizes, in a standardized format, the core parameters of a financing proposal — sponsor identity, capital structure, debt service coverage ratio, risk allocation, and security package — before it reaches the credit committee. Its function is to render disparate transactions comparable within a single frame and to direct the decision-maker's attention to material deviations. An experienced credit analyst reads this sheet less for the numbers themselves than for which assumptions the base case is most sensitive to, since a transaction's true fragility hides not in the average but at the weakest point of the sensitivity grid.
