Bir projeyi, finansörlerin değerlendirebileceği tutarlı ve eksiksiz bir işlem bütünü hâline getirme sürecidir; teknik, hukuki, çevresel ve finansal bileşenlerin tek bir yatırım önermesinde bir araya getirilmesidir. Paketlemenin gerçek zorluğu bilgi toplamak değil, riskleri karşı taraflar arasında dağıtan sözleşme mimarisini kurgulamaktır; zira iyi paketlenmiş bir proje, kredi verenin due diligence yükünü ve dolayısıyla işlem süresini belirgin ölçüde kısaltır. English Definition
The process of assembling a project into a coherent and complete transaction that financiers can evaluate, bringing the technical, legal, environmental, and financial components together into a single investment proposition. The real difficulty of packaging is not gathering information but designing the contractual architecture that distributes risk among the counterparties, since a well-packaged project markedly shortens the lender's due diligence burden and therefore the deal timetable. An experienced developer builds the package around the sequence of questions the financier's internal approval process will ask, because one missing component restarts the entire approval cycle from the beginning.
