Hattın gerçek anlamı brüt hacimde değil, aşamalar arası dönüşüm olasılığında yatar; ilan edilen büyük bir hat, dönüşüm oranı düşükse yanıltıcı bir güç göstergesidir. English Definition
The totality of a developer's or financier's existing and prospective projects at various stages of maturity, a portfolio spanning early concept to transactions near financial close. The pipeline's real meaning lies not in gross volume but in the probability of stage-to-stage conversion, and a headline-large pipeline is a misleading show of strength if the conversion rate is low. An experienced evaluator reads the pipeline on a risk-weighted basis, discounting each project by its probability of closing, since in sectors such as renewables a substantial share of projects sitting in the interconnection queue never actually reaches construction.
