Bir projenin belirli bir dönemdeki fiziksel ilerlemesini, mali durumunu ve karşılaşılan riskleri karar vericilere aktaran periyodik belgedir. Finansman bağlamında rapor yalnızca bilgi aktarımı değil, kredi anlaşmasındaki raporlama covenantlarının yerine getirilmesidir; geç ya da eksik bir rapor teknik bir temerrüt sayılabilir. Deneyimli kredi veren, raporun anlattığı hikâyeden çok, bir önceki dönemin tahminleriyle bu dönemin gerçekleşmeleri arasındaki tutarlılığa bakar; zira sürekli iyimser tahminlerin sürekli geri revize edilmesi, projenin gerçek durumundan çok yönetimin raporlama güvenilirliği hakkında bilgi verir.
English Definition
A periodic document that conveys a project's physical progress, financial position, and encountered risks to decision-makers over a given period. In a financing context the report is not merely information transfer but the fulfilment of the reporting covenants in the loan agreement, where a late or incomplete report can constitute a technical default. An experienced lender looks less at the story the report tells than at the consistency between the prior period's forecasts and this period's actuals, since the persistent downward revision of persistently optimistic forecasts reveals more about management's reporting credibility than about the project's true condition.
