Bir projenin teknik, ticari, çevresel ve finansal boyutlarını inceleyen ve yatırım kararına temel oluşturan analitik çalışmadır; fizibiliteden daha geniş, tek bir konuya odaklı incelemeden daha bütüncüldür. Etüdün finansman değeri, kredi verenin bağımsız danışman doğrulaması için dayanak oluşturmasındadır. Deneyimli değerlendirici, etüdün sonuç bölümünden çok kullanılan varsayımların kaynağına ve tutarlılığına bakar; zira geliştirici tarafından finanse edilen bir etüt, çoğu zaman projeyi finanse edilebilir gösterecek yönde örtük bir eğilim taşır ve bu eğilim ancak varsayımların bağımsız denetimiyle nötrlenir.
English Definition
An analytical work examining a project's technical, commercial, environmental, and financial dimensions to form the basis of the investment decision, broader than a feasibility study yet more holistic than a single-topic review. The financing value of the study is that it forms the basis for the lender's independent consultant verification. An experienced evaluator looks less at the study's conclusions than at the source and consistency of the assumptions used, since a study financed by the developer often carries an implicit bias toward showing the project as financeable, and that bias is neutralized only by an independent audit of the assumptions themselves.
