Ex-mill kotasyonun cazibesi karsilastirilabilirligindedir; nitekim ayni malin farkli tedarikcilerden alinan ex-mill fiyatlari saf uretim maliyetini yalin bicimde yansittigindan, proje tedariginde alici lojistik ve gumruk kalemlerini kendi optimize ettigi zincir uzerinden ekleyerek toplam teslim maliyetini cogu zaman teslimli kotasyona kiyasla daha seffaf bicimde kontrol edebilir.
English Definition
The quotation of a good's price as it leaves the mill or factory gate, with all carriage, insurance and post-loading costs falling to the buyer, so the seller's price covers only up to the point of production. The appeal of an ex-mill quotation lies in comparability, since ex-mill prices for the same good from different suppliers reflect the bare production cost in clean form. In project procurement the buyer can then add logistics and customs items through a chain it optimises itself, controlling total delivered cost more transparently than a delivered quotation permits.
