Bir alici ya da saticinin, belirli bir menkul kiymet, mal ya da hizmet icin islem yapmaya hazir oldugu fiyati bildirmesidir; kotasyonun gunluk, islevsel karsiligidir. Bir teklifin baglayiciligi ve gecerlilik suresi cogu zaman fiyatin kendisi kadar onemlidir; nitekim proje finansmaninda bir EPC ya da ekipman teklifi belirli bir gecerlilik penceresiyle verildiginden, finansal kapanisin bu pencereden sarkmasi, sponsoru ya fiyat yenilemesine ya da teklifi gecerlilikte tutmak icin ek teminat vermeye zorlar.
English Definition
A buyer's or seller's statement of the price at which it is ready to transact in a specified security, good or service; it is the everyday, functional counterpart of a quotation. The binding force and validity period of a quote are frequently as important as the price itself, since in project finance an EPC or equipment quote is given with a defined validity window, and financial close slipping beyond that window forces the sponsor either into a re-pricing or into posting additional security to hold the quote open.
