Proje finansmanında bir not, örneğin gelir sözleşmesinin belirli bir vadeye kadar yenilenmesi ya da bir tamamlanma garantisinin yürürlükte kalması varsayımına dayandırılabilir; bu varsayım düştüğünde not da revize edilir. Bu çekinceler çoğu zaman notun kendisinden daha bilgilendiricidir, zira kuruluşun yapının hangi kırılganlığına odaklandığını doğrudan ele verir.
English Definition
A caveat or condition attached to an assigned rating that ties its validity to specified assumptions or circumstances. In project finance a rating may rest, for instance, on the assumption that the revenue contract is renewed to a certain tenor or that a completion guarantee remains in force, and the rating is revised when that assumption fails. These qualifications are often more informative than the rating itself, since they reveal directly which fragility of the structure the agency is focused upon.
