Yeni ihraç edilen bir tahvilin reoffer getirisinin, karşılaştırma alınan referans tahvilin (örneğin devlet tahvili) getirisi üzerindeki farkıdır; baz puan cinsinden ifade edilir ve ihraççının kredi riskinin fiyatını taşır. Proje tahvillerinde reoffer spreadi, projenin algılanan riskini piyasa fiyatına tercüme eden en saf ölçüdür. Benzer vadeli iki proje arasındaki spread farkı, çoğu zaman gelir sözleşmesinin süresi, karşı tarafın kredi kalitesi ve rezerv hesabı yapısındaki ayrımı doğrudan yansıtır.
English Definition
The margin of a newly issued bond's re-offer yield over the yield of a chosen benchmark bond, such as a government security, expressed in basis points and carrying the price of the issuer's credit risk. For project bonds the re-offer spread is the purest measure translating a project's perceived risk into a market price. The difference in spread between two projects of similar tenor often directly reflects the distinction in the length of the revenue contract, the counterparty's credit quality, and the reserve-account structure.
