Proje finansmanında yeniden analiz rutin bir disiplindir; kredi veren, her çekiş öncesinde ilerleme ve maliyet varsayımlarını yeniden test eder, covenant ihlali ya da esaslı bir değişiklik doğduğunda ise krediyi baştan değerlendirir (re-underwriting). Uygulamada asıl kritik nokta, yeniden analizin bağımsız bir model denetimiyle mi yoksa sponsorun kendi güncellediği modelle mi yürütüldüğüdür; ikincisinde, ilk finansmanı haklı çıkaran varsayımların sessizce korunması eğilimi analize sistematik bir iyimserlik taşır.
English Definition
The re-examination of a prior assessment in light of updated data, changed assumptions, or a new event. In project finance reanalysis is a routine discipline: the lender re-tests the progress and cost assumptions before each drawdown, and re-underwrites the loan outright when a covenant breach or a material change arises. The point that matters in practice is whether the reanalysis is conducted through an independent model audit or through the sponsor's own updated model; in the latter, the tendency to preserve quietly the assumptions that justified the original financing imports a systematic optimism into the exercise, which is why a lender's engineer re-runs the base case rather than accepting the sponsor's revised one at face value.
