English Definition
A document setting out, entry by entry, the dates and amounts of principal repayments on a debt — one of the schedules that frames the cash flow in a loan agreement. Its profile — level amortisation, rising instalments or a bullet at maturity — is matched to the project's projected revenue curve and feeds directly into sizing the debt-service reserve account. In renewables projects the redemption schedule is frequently set a few years shorter than the PPA term, and that tail leaves a window for refinancing or sale before the offtake contract expires and revenue turns merchant.
