Sınır ötesi proje finansmanında borcun yeniden denominasyonu, kur riskini bir taraftan diğerine kaydırdığı için sözleşmenin en hassas müzakere noktalarından biridir. English Definition
A change in the denomination, unit or nominal scale of a financial instrument or a country's currency — at the national level the striking of zeros, in international dealings the switching of the currency in which an obligation is expressed. In cross-border project finance the redenomination of debt is among the most sensitive negotiation points, because it shifts currency risk from one party to the other. In jurisdictions shadowed by monetary-union debates, the governing law of the debt effectively determines whether a redenomination could be enforced at all — which is why the choice of law is bargained as hard as the rate.
