Fon yönetiminde bu, düşük getirili konumlardan çıkıp sermayeyi daha yüksek beklenen getiri sunan fırsatlara kaydırmanın disiplinidir. Proje finansmanında yeniden tahsis çoğu zaman kredi verenlerin onayına tabidir; zira belirli bir projeye tahsis edilmiş çekişlerin başka amaca kaydırılması, kredinin dayandığı kullanım amacı (use of proceeds) hükmünü ve dolayısıyla riskin fiyatlanan profilini değiştirir.
English Definition
The channelling of capital earmarked for a particular purpose, or released from a use, into a different investment or obligation. In fund management it is the discipline of exiting low-return positions and moving capital to opportunities offering a higher expected return. In project finance redeployment is usually subject to lender consent, because diverting drawdowns allocated to a specific project alters the use-of-proceeds provision on which the facility rests and, with it, the risk profile that was priced — a shift lenders will not permit without re-examining the credit rather than rubber-stamping it.
