Proje finansmanında eğilimin okunması, statik bir mevzuat fotoğrafından çok daha değerlidir; bugün uygun görünen bir teşvik rejimi, öngörülebilir bir sıkılaşma eğilimi altında yatırımın orta vadesinde erozyona uğrayabilir. Deneyimli geliştiriciler bu nedenle projeyi mevcut kurala değil, kuralın makul biçimde evrileceği yöne göre yapılandırarak eğilim riskini erkenden içselleştirir.
English Definition
The direction and line of development that regulatory rules and authority approach follow over time, with tightening environmental standards, expanding disclosure obligations, or the gradual withdrawal of incentives as typical examples. In project finance reading the trend is far more valuable than a static snapshot of the rules; an incentive regime that appears favorable today may erode over an investment's medium term under a foreseeable tightening trend. Experienced developers therefore structure a project not to the current rule but to the direction the rule is reasonably expected to take, internalizing trend risk early.
