Bir kredinin anaparasının tamamının ya da bir taksitinin, sözleşme uyarınca kredi verene ödenmesi gereken tarihtir. Tek seferlik itfada bu tarih vade sonuyla, taksitli yapıda ise her bir ödeme dönemiyle örtüşür. Proje finansmanında ilk geri ödeme tarihi çoğunlukla inşa ve devreye alma tamamlanıp projenin nakit üretmeye başladığı ana kadar ertelenir; bu ödemesiz dönem (grace period) yanlış kalibre edilirse, proje henüz gelir üretmeden anapara taksiti doğar ve sponsor öz kaynaktan borç servisi yapmak zorunda kalır.
English Definition
The date on which all or an installment of a loan's principal must, under the agreement, be paid to the lender. Under a bullet structure this coincides with final maturity, while under an amortizing profile it recurs at each payment period. In project finance, the first repayment date is usually deferred until construction and commissioning are complete and the project has begun generating cash; if this grace period is miscalibrated, a principal installment falls due before revenue exists, forcing the sponsor to service debt out of equity.
