Bir varlığın, malın ya da tesisin durumunu, değerini ya da uygunluğunu bağımsız bir uzmanın (ekspert/surveyor) incelemesi sonucu belgeleyen resmî rapordur; sigorta, deniz taşımacılığı ve inşaat alanlarında tarafların dayandığı temel teknik kanıttır. Rapor, hasarın kapsamını ya da bir varlığın sözleşmeye uygunluğunu tespit ederek tazminat ve kabul kararlarına esas oluşturur. English Definition
An official report documenting the condition, value, or fitness of an asset, good, or facility following inspection by an independent expert (a surveyor), and the basic technical evidence on which parties rely in insurance, marine transport, and construction. By establishing the extent of damage or an asset's conformity to contract, it grounds indemnity and acceptance decisions. In project finance, the lender's engineer report is the lender-specific form of this; lenders frequently condition construction drawdowns on its confirmation, because what triggers payment is the independent expert's verification, not the sponsor's own assertion.
