Bir tarafın, sözleşme uyarınca hak ettiği bir tutarın ödenmesi için karşı tarafa yönelttiği resmi taleptir; inşaat sözleşmelerinde hakediş, kredi yapılarında ise çekiş (drawdown) talebi biçiminde görünür. Talep tipik olarak destekleyici belgelerle (ilerleme raporu, mühendis onayı, koşulların sağlandığına dair sertifika) birlikte sunulur. Proje finansmanında ödeme talebinin işlenmesi mekanik değildir; bağımsız mühendisin onayı, çekiş öncesi koşulların (conditions precedent) teyidi ve beyanların yeniden doğru olması gibi kontrol noktaları, kredi verene her ödeme anında projeye hayır deme opsiyonunu koruyan bir denetim penceresi sağlar.
English Definition
A formal demand by which a party asks its counterparty to pay an amount it is entitled to under a contract; in construction contracts it appears as a progress claim, in credit structures as a drawdown request. The request is typically submitted with supporting documents — a progress report, engineer's certification, a certificate that conditions have been met. In project finance the processing of a payment request is not mechanical: checkpoints such as the independent engineer's approval, confirmation of conditions precedent and the repeating truth of representations give the lender an audit window that preserves the option to decline funding at each payment.
