Bir ödeme talimatının ya da alım-satım emrinin, uygun ara kurumlar ve takas ağları üzerinden hedefine yönlendirilmesi sürecidir; ödeme sistemlerinde fonun hangi muhabir banka zinciri üzerinden akacağını belirler. Emir tarafında ise emrin hangi işlem mekânına iletileceği, gerçekleşme fiyatını ve hızını doğrudan etkiler. Proje finansmanında yönlendirme mantığı bilhassa çok taraflı ödeme akışlarında önem kazanır; escrow ve waterfall yapılarında fonun yanlış hesaba yönlendirilmesi, teminat önceliğini ve alacaklı sıralamasını sessizce bozabilir.
English Definition
The process of directing a payment instruction or a trading order to its destination through the appropriate intermediaries and settlement networks; in payment systems it determines the chain of correspondent banks through which funds flow. On the order side, the venue to which an order is routed bears directly on its execution price and speed. Routing logic matters especially in the multi-party payment flows of a project financing, where misrouting funds within escrow and waterfall structures can quietly disturb security priority and the ranking of creditors.
