Bir muhasebe döneminde gerçekleşen tüm satış gelirlerinin toplandığı gelir hesabıdır; dönem sonunda kapatılarak sonucu gelir tablosuna aktarılır. Proje finansmanında bu kavram muhasebe defterinin ötesine geçebilir; proje şirketinin tüm satış gelirlerinin fiziksel olarak toplandığı bir gelir hesabı (revenue/collection account), teminat yapısının kalbidir. Bu hesap tipik olarak temsilci banka kontrolünde tutulur ve nakit, önce işletme giderleri sonra borç servisi olacak şekilde sözleşmesel şelale (cash waterfall) sırasına göre dağıtılır.
English Definition
An income account in which all sales revenue realized in an accounting period is gathered, closed at period-end to carry its result to the income statement. In project finance the notion can reach beyond the ledger; a revenue or collection account into which the project company's entire sales income is physically swept sits at the heart of the security structure. Held typically under agent-bank control, the account distributes cash by the contractual waterfall, operating costs first, then debt service.
