English Definition
A table setting out the dates and amounts at which the principal and interest components of a debt will be repaid over its term. In project finance this schedule rests less on the classic equal-installment form than on sculpted amortization shaped to the project's expected cash flow, where each period's principal repayment is solved backward to hold the targeted debt service coverage ratio constant. That design eases the repayment burden in low-revenue early periods and accelerates it when cash strengthens, aligning the debt with the project's actual capacity to pay.
